Casa Tranquila, built in 1997, is a 4, 000 square foot private vacation home situated on a hillside - 200 feet above the ocean. The home features 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths and comfortably sleeps 13 people. It is equipped with individually zoned air conditioning, a water purification system, satellite TV/VCR, and a CD stereo system with surround sound. The fabulous vaulted ceilings, tiled floors, and numerous windows yield a superbly bright and open atmosphere. The villa features a two-level outdoor patio with the upper level covered by an enormous Palapa Patio There is plenty of room to sit and relax and enjoy the ocean view - or you may dine at the authentic Mexican-style patio table. The lower level is very secluded with a wonderfully large heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and spacious sunbathing area. The sound of the crashing waves below can be heard easily from this grand patio setting. Walking down the steps to the patio level will lead you to the dining room, living room and the spacious kitchen. These areas have tiled floors and high ceilings that present a very open and bright atmosphere. The dining table has ample room to seat 8 people. Winding, stone steps surrounded by beautiful lush gardens will lead you down to the front door and into the wonderful surroundings of Casa Tranquila. The upper level entrance of the Casa has two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. One bedroom is furnished with a queen bed and has an adjoining, private bath. The other bedroom has a double and single bed and access to a separate bathroom across the hall. The lower level's two bedrooms both step out into the secluded lower patio where the heated swimming pool and hot tub are located. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and a massive, private bathroom. The other bedroom has a queen-sized bed with a separate large bathroom across the hallway. A detached 5th bedroom at the top of the stairs is perfect for those in the group who party late, sleep late or require more privacy. Many locals feel Casa Tranquila has the best panoramic ocean view in all of Los Cabos.
